Open Source Licenses and Attribution

NexNodo Inc. ("NexNodo", "we", "our", or "us") values and supports the open-source software community and recognizes the importance of open-source technologies in modern cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes ecosystems, AI infrastructure, orchestration systems, automation tooling, databases, observability platforms, and Marketplace applications.

The NexNodo platform, Marketplace, orchestration systems, AI infrastructure services, deployment systems, MCP ecosystem, and related Services may incorporate, integrate with, distribute, deploy, orchestrate, or enable access to software components, libraries, frameworks, container images, SDKs, APIs, AI models, and related technologies licensed under various open-source licenses.

This Open Source Licenses and Attribution Page ("OSS Policy") provides general information regarding open-source software components and applicable attribution obligations associated with the NexNodo platform and Services.

1. Open-Source Software Usage

NexNodo may use, integrate with, deploy, orchestrate, distribute, or support software licensed under open-source licenses including, without limitation:

  • MIT License,
  • Apache License 2.0,
  • GNU General Public License ("GPL"),
  • GNU Affero General Public License ("AGPL"),
  • BSD Licenses,
  • Mozilla Public License ("MPL"),
  • Eclipse Public License ("EPL"),
  • Creative Commons licenses,
  • OpenRAIL licenses,
  • and other applicable open-source or source-available licenses.

Open-source technologies may be used within:

  • the NexNodo platform,
  • orchestration systems,
  • Kubernetes infrastructure,
  • AI infrastructure services,
  • Marketplace applications,
  • MCP servers,
  • deployment tooling,
  • observability systems,
  • storage systems,
  • networking systems,
  • APIs,
  • automation environments,
  • and related operational components.

2. Third-Party Open-Source Components

The NexNodo platform and Marketplace may include integrations with or deployments of third-party open-source software projects, including software maintained by independent organizations, communities, Vendors, or contributors.

Examples of open-source technologies that may be deployed, orchestrated, supported, or integrated through the Services may include:

  • Kubernetes,
  • PostgreSQL,
  • MySQL,
  • Apache Kafka,
  • Apache Spark,
  • Apache Airflow,
  • Airbyte,
  • Grafana,
  • Prometheus,
  • Qdrant,
  • Ollama,
  • N8N,
  • Redis,
  • MinIO,
  • ClickHouse,
  • Elastic,
  • OpenSearch,
  • LangChain,
  • vector databases,
  • AI inference frameworks,
  • MCP servers,
  • and related open-source technologies.

All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights associated with third-party open-source projects remain the property of their respective owners.

NexNodo does not claim ownership of third-party open-source software unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Marketplace Applications and Vendor Software

Marketplace applications, AI systems, MCP servers, connectors, integrations, deployment templates, and related software available through the NexNodo Marketplace may be subject to:

  • open-source licenses,
  • proprietary licenses,
  • commercial licenses,
  • Vendor agreements,
  • source-available licenses,
  • or hybrid licensing models.

Customers and Vendors remain solely responsible for understanding and complying with applicable licensing obligations associated with Marketplace software deployed or distributed through the Services.

NexNodo does not provide legal advice regarding:

  • open-source compliance,
  • software licensing compatibility,
  • redistribution obligations,
  • copyleft obligations,
  • AI model licensing,
  • dataset licensing,
  • or intellectual property rights associated with third-party software or AI systems.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers using the Services remain responsible for:

  • understanding applicable software licenses,
  • complying with attribution obligations,
  • satisfying redistribution requirements,
  • complying with copyleft obligations,
  • managing source code disclosure requirements,
  • complying with AI model licensing restrictions,
  • and ensuring lawful use of software, datasets, AI systems, and Marketplace applications deployed through the Services.

Customers additionally remain responsible for ensuring compliance with:

  • GPL obligations,
  • AGPL obligations,
  • Apache 2.0 requirements,
  • MIT attribution requirements,
  • trademark restrictions,
  • patent grants,
  • and other applicable licensing terms associated with software or AI systems deployed through the Services.

5. AI Models and Open AI Ecosystems

Certain AI-related Services, Marketplace applications, MCP systems, inference systems, datasets, or AI integrations available through the Services may involve:

  • open-source AI models,
  • source-available AI systems,
  • open-weight models,
  • proprietary models,
  • community-maintained models,
  • or third-party AI infrastructure technologies.

Licensing obligations relating to:

  • AI models,
  • training datasets,
  • embeddings,
  • generated outputs,
  • model weights,
  • fine-tuned models,
  • prompts,
  • or synthetic content

may vary depending on the applicable provider, Vendor, project, or license.

Customers remain solely responsible for evaluating and complying with licensing obligations associated with AI-related technologies deployed or accessed through the Services.

6. Attribution Notices

Where required by applicable licenses, NexNodo may provide:

  • attribution notices,
  • copyright notices,
  • license references,
  • source code references,
  • acknowledgements,
  • or related licensing information

through:

  • the NexNodo website,
  • Marketplace listings,
  • documentation,
  • deployment templates,
  • Vendor pages,
  • software repositories,
  • platform documentation,
  • or related operational materials.

Additional attribution notices may be provided upon request where commercially reasonable and legally required.

7. Source Code Availability

Where applicable licenses require source code disclosure or source code availability, Customers may request access to corresponding source code materials where required under the applicable license terms.

NexNodo reserves the right to verify eligibility, licensing applicability, operational scope, and legal requirements associated with source code requests.

8. No Modification of License Terms

Nothing in this Policy, the NexNodo Terms of Service, Marketplace Terms, or related agreements is intended to:

  • modify open-source licenses,
  • restrict rights granted under applicable licenses,
  • supersede third-party licensing terms,
  • or alter obligations imposed by applicable software licenses.

Open-source software remains governed by its applicable license terms.

9. Vendor Responsibility

Marketplace Vendors remain solely responsible for:

  • ensuring lawful distribution of software,
  • maintaining proper licensing compliance,
  • providing required attribution notices,
  • complying with open-source obligations,
  • managing redistribution rights,
  • and ensuring lawful operation of Vendor software, AI systems, MCP servers, integrations, and Marketplace offerings.

NexNodo reserves the right to:

  • restrict Marketplace listings,
  • remove applications,
  • suspend Vendor participation,
  • disable deployments,
  • or investigate software licensing issues

where licensing concerns, intellectual property risks, or compliance issues are identified.

10. Reservation of Rights

NexNodo reserves the right to:

  • update attribution notices,
  • modify software distributions,
  • change Marketplace offerings,
  • remove software,
  • suspend deployments,
  • restrict integrations,
  • or modify operational practices

where reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain compliance,
  • address legal obligations,
  • reduce operational risks,
  • respond to intellectual property disputes,
  • or protect the integrity of the Services.

11. No Legal Advice

This Policy is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

Customers, Vendors, and users of the Services should consult qualified legal counsel regarding:

  • software licensing obligations,
  • open-source compliance,
  • redistribution obligations,
  • AI model licensing,
  • intellectual property rights,
  • or related legal matters.

12. Changes to this Policy

NexNodo may revise, update, amend, or modify this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • software usage,
  • Marketplace operations,
  • AI-related services,
  • operational practices,
  • licensing requirements,
  • legal obligations,
  • or business operations.

Updated versions will be posted on the NexNodo website with revised effective dates.

Continued use of the Services following publication of revised policies constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
